A Safe Web Browser

A web browser is a software application for retrieving, presenting, and traversing information resources on the World Wide Web. The major web browsers are Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, and Safari.

An outdated web browser poses a risk to you as it's less stable and vulnerable to viruses, spyware, malware, and other security issues. You can upgrade your existing browser by clicking one of the links below. Upgrading your browser is smart, quick, easy, and free.

This means that Microsoft will no longer produce security patches for critical vulnerabilities in Windows XP and that Internet Explorer 8, the most recent version available for Windows XP, will no longer receive security patches. If you are a Windows XP user, you should consider upgrading the operating system on your PC as soon as possible or switch to a different browser such as Firefox or Chrome.

Important notice to Internet Explorer 5/6 users: Most websites no longer support Internet Explorer 5 or 6. If you use Internet Explorer 5 or 6 you should upgrade your browser as soon as possible.
